Video Opt In Specs

1. Overview

   A. General
   The video opt in box is intended to give the member an opt in box that will work with any AR system. The flash opt in box will run on our servers and will display the custom data the member entered in there cp. It is intended to use video for the optin to increase the % of viewers that will fill in the opt in box. The member will take the code generated and place it on any webpage,

B. Two Types of Membership

1, Free

The free member will usually come to the system through a viral link on each opt in box. This member will be able to use the optin box with full use. The biggest difference will be that he will mot receive commissions for any sales from his aff link on the opt in box. Plus we will also offer items for sale on his optin box which he will not receive commissions on.

2. Paid Member will be able to use the optin box to the number of views they pay for. If they exceed the number paid for the member will receive an email and will then revert to a free membership for the remainder of the month.

C. Affiliate Sales

1. The promotion of the tool will be mainly done through joint ventures and affiliate sales. We will offer a 2 tier affiliate program. We anticipate a 25% 1^st level and 15% second level commission.

2. Viral affiliate program. Each optin box and thank you page will have a viral affiliate link on it.. When someone purchases from this link the member will receive there appropriate commission.

3. If a sale is done on a free members box, the member will first receive an email asking them to upgrade to free and receive a discount in the amount of the commission. They will have a specific time this offer will expire (12 hrs.) . if they do not act in that 12 hrs the next member up from them will receive the same 12 hr offer if they are not a paid member. If they are a paid member they will simply capture the entire commission. The second tier will then go to the next paid member above them.

2. Sign up process

A. the first stage of the sign up will be simply filling in the opt in box (first name and email)

B Next they proceed to the full sign up page ( the data already collected will be propagated to the form. The member will fill in fields like: fname,lastname, user name, password, all address info, phone number. We will also ask several custom questions and have some cb to check. We also will have a cb if they want to be a viral affiliate. If they are a free member it pops a java box that says you will need to be a paid member to be a viral affiliate see more benefits of being a paid member. we keep track of who referred this member. the data for all this will be filled to the shopping cart.

C. Also when member fills in the opt in box we generate an email that is sent to the member to complete the double optin process. After clicking the double opt link they will be redirected to there sign up page( if filled out they see the data) also now there will be some mark that distinguishes this member as being double opted in.

D. On update of the full sign up page we go to a page that will be designed to up sell them to a paid member and to get them to be an affiliate. If they are already a paid member they will not see this.

E. we send member their login credentials.

F. We start the member on an autoreponse sequence that we can send specific emails according to specific actions the member has taken. (ie: filled in entire sign up process, generated an opt in code, and a few more if>then criteria.

7. Members Optin Collection Process

   A. the optin code is placed on a website.

   B. The optin box will look like this: (videoptin_box.jpg)

   C. when someone fills in the box and clicks submit they go to a ty page.

   D. The TY page will have the affiliate link with a cb to get the opt in service on it and will have a product offer link.

   1. if the aff link cb is clicked the member will go to sign up page for the free opt in box. We should carry the first name and email for this sign up process When they click this box we send a separate email for the double opt in to our ar campaign.

   2. if they click the purchase product link, then we need to somehow track the referrer and we will then send them to the url we set up to go purchase that product.

8. Affiliate program

   A. There is an affiliate program that anyone can sign up for. Free Member, paid member, No membership at all.

   B. This program will pay 25% 1^st and 15% 2^nd level. This is exact to the viral, but is primarily devised so an affiliate can take an optin box we supply that is designed to sign people up for the optin program. So the free member that also is an affiliate will collect commissions here and will not collect commissions from the free opt in box when they use this for there own purpose. We will need a way to determine who is eligible for what commissions.

9. Affiliate Section

   A. There should be an affiliate section were the affiliate can get an opt in box for selling the tool as well as other standard affiliate functions.

   B. it should show all commissions earned and paid and pending. As well as tracking the number of referrals and missed commissions if applicable.

10. Viral Affiliate

    A. Each member weather a free member or a paid member will automatically become a viral affiliate. The link that is displayed on there tool will always be there affiliate link.

B. Free members will not be eligible for viral commissions. However they will receive an email notification every time a sale is produced. They will have a 12 hr time limit to act on becoming a paid member. They will be able to apply the commission amount to there payment.

1. this is set up something like a pyramid (only as that shape, not as a pyrimidine scheme). If they do not change there membership to a paid membership then the commission will slide up to the next level above them. (that member receives an email asking to upgrade using the commission) after 12 hrs the commission slides up 1 more level.

2. If the next member up is a paid member they will automatically collect the commission that slid up from the down line.

   C. we will also offer a commission to paid members that will give them 50% of the commission earned on the sale of all product links that are placed on the members opt in page and ty page.

    

11. Tracking

    A We need to track these items:

    1. views / submits / conversion rate.

    2. we should have a way to do a split test for our optin boxes. (the split testing should work like how we track the products in the cart.

    3. we should also be able to split test up to 10% of views as the original opt in box from ar. We will compare the increased opt in % against the video tools. We will want to keep a total for this also. We will need to serve this so it will count as a view in the system.

B. we will want to track the referring url for each campaign. It will look something like in awstats were it says the number and % of total for each domain. The conversion rate should also be shown.

C. have a place to display the highest click through rates and a link to the page they have the optin on.
